The Department of Tourism and Tourism Tax Service is responsible for all matters relating to the Tyrolean Tourism Act, the tourist tax, and all legal matters concerning ski schools, ski guides, mountain guides, sports, private room rentals, camping, and tourism statistics. It also serves as the administrative office for the Ski Slope and Cross-Country Ski Trail Arbitration Commission and the Tyrolean Tourism Promotion Fund.
