Israel in the tourism year 2022/23
Israel ranked 14th in the country comparison of the guest mix in terms of overnight stays, accounting for a share of 0.5%.
With 53% of the share of overnight stays from Israel, the summer season is slightly more popular with them. Compared to the last 10 summer seasons , therewas strong growth in arrivals (+147%) and overnight stays (+113%). Summer also recorded further year-on-year growth, both in terms of arrivals (+8.5%) and overnight stays (+12%).
The winter season also showed a positive trend. In a comparison of the last 10 winter seasons , there was strong growth in both arrivals (+92%) and overnight stays (+71%). In a year-on-year comparison, winter also saw growth in arrivals (+28%) and overnight stays (+25%).
