Switzerland in the tourism year 2023/24

In summer 2024, 326,052 arrivals (-2.0 %) and 1,227,936 overnight stays (-2.9 %) were recorded.
The entire tourism year 2023/24 accounted for 584,979 arrivals (-0.4 %) and 2,246,708 overnight stays (-1.3 %). The length of stay is 3.9 days in winter and 3.8 days in summer.
The summer season dominates with 55-56 % of overnight stays. Swiss guests clearly prefer the 4/5-star hotel sector.
