Prepared for what lies ahead in tourism
Stay up-to-date with current, independent statistics and information on tourism in the Alpine region.
This goal is to be achieved by optimizing the existing capacities of higher education institutions in relation to the development of environmentally friendly tourism services and through experiential learning. In this way, adaptations to the sector-specific requirements of future employees can be established.
Specific objectives
- Reduce the mismatch between the labor market and the skills of future graduates
- Promoting the framework of national and institutional regulations
- Optimize cooperation between higher education institutions and the tourism industry
The objectives are aligned with the concept of sustainable tourism. New strategic initiatives will be established in the areas of knowledge transfer, online teaching and pedagogy, based on the best practices of the European Union.
