Project

Enricher Hubs Ulysseus

Development of sustainable tourism concepts by optimizing the education system
The main objective of the Enrich Hubs project is to promote the double transition and foster the recovery of the European tourism industry by identifying the skills and competencies gaps between higher education institutions and the labor market.

This goal is to be achieved by optimizing the existing capacities of higher education institutions in relation to the development of environmentally friendly tourism services and through experiential learning. In this way, adaptations to the sector-specific requirements of future employees can be established.

Specific objectives

  • Reduce the mismatch between the labor market and the skills of future graduates
  • Promoting the framework of national and institutional regulations
  • Optimize cooperation between higher education institutions and the tourism industry

The objectives are aligned with the concept of sustainable tourism. New strategic initiatives will be established in the areas of knowledge transfer, online teaching and pedagogy, based on the best practices of the European Union.
