F.acT: What is the idea behind the Gondola Slam and how did it come about?
Daniel Stock: The idea came to me one afternoon in my garden. From there I have a wonderful view of the largest gondola in Austria - the Ahornbahn in Mayrhofen. That's when I had a flash of inspiration, so to speak! Why not turn an elevator pitch into a gondola pitch? That was the birth of the Gondola Slam! Under the motto - "Together we're going uphill, we're all in the same gondola!" - there may be an opportunity to unite young people with personalities from politics, tourism and business - that's my idea. Guests, entrepreneurs and employees need to meet at eye level again. More appreciation for the service, more humanity and empathy! The world seems to be changing and so are people. Only together, when everyone pulls together, will it be possible to create a positive and fruitful environment in the future.
F.acT: What is the aim of the event and which audience is it aimed at?
Daniel Stock: It's about communication between employees, guests and entrepreneurs in connection with digitalization and new work trends! Our mission is to break up outdated and entrenched structures in tourism and create new innovative framework conditions for the "next generation" - in short, "street style content" for tourism and gastronomy! Together with experts, we provide cool input, new vibes and light snacks for a fresh corporate culture, far removed from outdated ideologies and principles. Gone are the days of "The guest is king!" or "Everything for the guest!", it's no longer about stars or other categories. Instead, empathy, mutual respect and recognition between employees, entrepreneurs and guests will play a key role. People who are directly or indirectly involved in tourism or gastronomy should feel addressed - above all, we want to motivate and inspire young people for our industry again.

F.acT: What program items can viewers/listeners expect?
Daniel Stock: The Gondola Slam is a unique lifestyle event that takes place in Austria's largest gondola and at the valley and mountain station of the Ahornbahn in Mayrhofen. The focus of the event is on employee and corporate culture. We will be broadcasting live for 8 hours from the gondola, which is divided into 32 slots and 8 main topics! Another focus will be on the topic of "New Work", new approaches to digital teaching and training, employer branding and what an attractive workplace could look like in the future. Entertainment, culinary delights and fun will of course not be neglected at the Gondola Slam!
