In line with this motto, two of the central Tyrolean hubs have joined forces: Werkstätte Wattensas a creative center for founders and start-ups in various stages of development and Impact Hub Tirol as a home for all people who want to make a difference and actively shape the future. Impact investor Charly Kleissner also supports the accelerator.

pioneer:impact: The aim is to make western Austria a model for a regenerative Alpine region. By merging three institutions, a 12-month hybrid program will be launched that offers market access, impact measurement and funding of € 150,000 for the 1-2 most promising startups that emerge from the accelerator. Startups from a wide range of industries that combine impact with scaling are addressed, be it in tourism, mobility, regenerative agriculture, social services, inclusion, justice, equality, education, healthcare, renewable energy or biodiversity. The start-ups should be in the market entry phase.

pioneer:impact: The so-called "Seven Sweet Services" await the participants. In addition to intensive 8-month training for impact-oriented entrepreneurship accompanied by industry-leading experts, the accelerator also includes 4 months of coaching from experienced mentors (deep mentoring). Contact is also established with impact investors from the region. As part of the pioneer:impact Accelerator, participants gain access to the co-working space and FabLab at Werkstätte Wattens, the impact community and other peers. Personal development and wellbeing combined with extraordinary alpine nature experiences should not be neglected either. Participants will thus gain an understanding of methods, tools and best practices in impact management with a special focus on impact measurement. Most of the program takes place at the Werkstätte Wattens. Two modules are also offered remotely.

pioneer:impact: In addition to start-ups, we are also looking for partners who can help shape the program and provide sustainable financing, investors with experience in the impact sector as well as mentors and pro bono partners who would like to support the program with their services and products.

Because only in this way can we sustainably change our usual ways of acting, our behavior and thus our living space in the long term.
