Danish tourism plays a role in the Tyrolean guest mix, with around a third (35%) of Danes who spend their vacations in Austria traveling to Tyrol. In winter, Denmark ranks 9th in terms of overnight stays in the Tyrolean guest mix, which corresponds to a share of 1.5%. In summer, Denmark ranks 12th with a share of 0.8% of overnight stays.

Winter significantly dominates Danish tourism in Tirol and accounts for 68% of overnight stays. In the last 20 winter seasons, there has been growth in both arrivals (+43%) and overnight stays (+29%). Year-on-year growth in arrivals (+17%) and overnight stays (+15%) was also recorded during the winter.
