LEARN-OUT is a project that focuses on new tourism trends, especially smaller natural areas and cultural sites. It responds to the growing trend of "mini-holidays" and increasing tourism for children and families (tourism 0-14). Families, children, students and local communities are key stakeholders and participants in generating added value from visiting cultural and natural heritage. This target group is not just looking for a vacation, but an experience where they can actively experience the natural, cultural and artistic heritage.
The central aim of LEARN-OUT is to create a learning opportunity. This is done by applying the LEARN-OUT model, which is defined as "learning by visiting". The project enables tourists between the ages of 0 and 14 and their families to explore the region through an innovative, interactive and interesting educational offer. The measures of the project at a glance:
- The creation of a cross-border network of small cultural and natural heritage sites to strengthen their joint tourism offer.
- Strengthening education through cultural heritage by means of innovation in didactics, increased interactivity and accessibility of knowledge.
- The development of new digital solutions to improve the exchange of knowledge and the usability of the sites.
- 2 cross-border impulse events for regional partners and two "train-the-trainer workshops" to qualify mountain guides and guides
- Digital platform with integrated sustainability tools: for the outdoor sports community, TVBs, regional management
